Preamble:
We, the students of Cummins College of Engineering for Women, Nagpur, united by a shared passion for the transformative potential of robotics and automation and recognizing its increasing significance in shaping the future, hereby establish the Robotics and Automation Student Club. Driven by a collective desire to learn, explore, and innovate within this dynamic field, we aim to foster a vibrant community dedicated to advancing our knowledge and skills in robotics, automation, artificial intelligence, and related technologies.
We believe in the power of collaborative learning, hands-on experience, and interdisciplinary engagement to cultivate the next generation of leaders and innovators in robotics and automation. Through workshops, projects, competitions, and outreach activities, we strive to:

1 Day Workshop on Robotics
The Robotics and Automation Club of Cummins College of Engineering for Women, Nagpur, successfully organized a highly engaging robotics workshop under the esteemed banner of IIT Bombay's Techfest. The workshop, conducted by the renowned robotics expert, Mr. Manish Maurya from Makxenia Product School, witnessed an overwhelming response, with over 180 enthusiastic participants in attendance.
The focus of the workshop was on two essential robots-Line Follower Robots and Gripper Robots. Participants were encouraged to participate in Zonal Competitions under the Techfest. Mr. Maurya, with his extensive experience in the field, guided the participants through the intricacies of designing and programming these robots.
The event was a major success under the guidance of faculty advisor Prof. Sushil Lanjewar, HOD Dr. Shailesh Khekale and Principal Dr. Milind Khanapurkar, further strengthening Cummins College's reputation as a hub for fostering technical education and innovation. It showcased the fruitful collaboration between educational institutions and prestigious platforms like IIT Bombay's Techfest.
