The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) at Cummins College of Engineering for Women, Nagpur, is committed to providing quality technical education and nurturing competent women professionals in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, and emerging technologies. As a newly inducted department, it focuses on building strong academic foundations while fostering innovation, research, entrepreneurship, and lifelong learning.
The department aims to create an engaging learning environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, problem-solving, and continuous skill development. The department is equipped with modern computing facilities and an AI/ML Lab, funded by HCL Technologies Limited, providing students with opportunities for hands-on learning in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, Data Analytics, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, and other emerging technologies.
Strong industry-academia interaction is promoted through collaborations and MOUs with organizations such as HCL Technologies, Cummins India Limited, Zensar, Risewell, and other industry partners. These associations provide students with exposure to real-world technologies, industrial practices, internships, expert lectures, technical training, and career opportunities.
The department emphasizes skill development in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, Data Science, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Cloud Computing, IoT, Cyber Security, and Software Development.
