HEALTH CHECK-UP CAMP

  Health Check-up camp was organized by Unnat Bharat Abhiyan team for villagers of Mandva, Katangdhara, Pipaldhara and Nagazari villages in the village Nagazari in association with Janakalyankari Samiti, Nagpur and Swami Vivekanand Medical Mission, Nagpur.

Total 134 villagers took the benefit for general check-up, eye check-up. Out of these 64 were the women and rest were the men.

7 students worked as volunteers for this event, Dr. Milind Khanapurkar, Principal along with faculty coordinator, Prof. Yogesh Dandekar, Prof. Anand Deshkar visited the site and praised the noble work.

SCHOOL KIT DISTRIBUITION PROGRAM

"Education is the movement from darkness to light". When the opportunity came knocking on the door, UNNAT BHARAT ABHIYAN unit of Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha's Cummins college of engineering for Women, Nagpur organized a "SCHOOL KIT DISTRIBUITION" program. The main agenda of this event was to distribute school kits to needy students. The event was conducted on 30th May 2024 from 8.00AM in Mandva and 10.00AM in Pipaldhara villages. Our students and teachers visited Zilla Parishad Schools in adopted villages namely, Pipaldhara and Mandva and distributed the SCHOOL KIT donated by and made with the cooperation of our students and non-teaching staff. This event took place in the presence of the Secretary of Jankalyankari Samiti, Nagpur Mr. Deepak Deshpande, honorable members of our Nagpur prakalp, Dr. Makarand Karkare, Mr. Hemant Ambaselkar, Principal Dr. Milind Khanapurkar, Professor Prasanna Mahankar and Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Coordinator Mr. Yogesh Dandekar and students who participated in the activity. A total 100 kits were distributed to the children in the villages. Each kit consists of 5 notebooks, 2 pens, pencil, scale, eraser, sharpener, sketch pens and many more stationary related items.
