One Day workshop “FRAMES BY FRAME On Video Editing “
ISTE (New Delhi) student Chapter of Cummins College of Engineering for Women, Nagpur organized one day workshop “FRAMES By FRAME: Short Film making and Video Editing”. Mr. Aniket Lad, renowned Writer and Director had interactive session with participants and provided hands on training on Video Editing. He discussed about various video editing softwares, script writing and audio mixing. There was overwhelming response from students and faculties of Engineering and Nursing Colleges of Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha. All the participants were awarded with participation certificates.
“Two days workshop on “Basics of MATLAB and its Applications” at Cummins CoE, Nagpur”
Cummins College of Engineering for Women organized a two days workshop on “Basics of MATLAB and its Applications” on 14th and 15th Feb.2014 in the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication under ISTE student Chapter, New Delhi. Dr.M.M Mushrif; Professor in ET dept. YCCE, Nagpur and Mr. Vaibhav Waghmare; Business Analyst, Helical IT Solution, Hyderabad had an interactive sessions with students and provided hands on training on MATLAB.
National Science Day
Cummins College of Engineering for Women organized e-poster presentation competition under ISTE chapter on 28/2/2018 to celebrate National Science Day.The theme of the competition was ‘Innovative ideas on’: SAFE AND SECURE “MAZI METRO-NAGPUR METRO”. Total 7 groups were participated in the competition. Students explained the working of metro and proposed new ideas to ensure safe and secure metro journey.
Quiz competition
Quiz competition on Life History of Dr. A.P.J.Abdul Kalam was organized on 11th October 2022. There was objective type pen-paper quiz in which 65 students were participated.
Digital Poster making competition: Climate Change: Causes and Effective Solution
ISTE (INDIAN SOCIETY FOR TECHNICAL EDUCATION) of Cummins College of Engineering for Women, Nagpur is organized an E-Poster Making Competition on the topic ‘Climate Change: Causes and Effective Solutions’. Total 34 students participated in the competition. Students designed beautiful digital posters. All the students were given participation certificates.
TECTONIC 2020
Cummins College of Engineering for Women, Nagpur organized two days intercollegiate tech fest “TECTONIC 2020under ISTE student’s chapter. Various technical events were organized for different branches like Auto Tech, Mech-Wizard, Tech-Elapid for Mechanical; AI Shastra and Cybernetics for Computer branch and Robocart, Electrowarz for EnTC branch. More than 10 different colleges and around 200 students participated in the competition. Workshop on AI SHASTRA was conducted by Dr. Pooja Jain, IIIT Nagpur. Expert talk on CYBERNETICS was given by Cyber security Expert, Mr. Mahesh Rakheja. Prize distribution was done at the hands of Chief Guest Dr. Adinath kulkarni, retired Scientific Office (H), BARC and Guest of Honor Dr. Rajashree Raut, Associate Prof. Dept of Electronics and Telecommunication, Government Engineering College, Nagpur. She is current Executive Council M ember,(Maharashtra Region) ISTE, New Delhi. Dr Raut while addressing the students focused on character building along with technical knowledge.
