Orientation session with 1st Year

The IEEE Student Council Nagpur organized a captivating Team Introduction Session for the incoming batch of first-year students on 18th August at Seminar Hall of the college. The event aimed to familiarize the newcomers with the IEEE student council, its objectives, benefits, and core committee members. The session was designed to inspire and engage the students, encouraging them to actively participate in IEEE activities during their academic journey.

Tree Plantation on the eve of 15th August

Nagpur, 15th August 2023 The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) organized an impactful Plantation Day event at Cummins College of Engineering for Women on August 15th. With a resolute focus on nurturing a more environmentally conscious future, the event aimed to enhance the green cover within the college campus while contributing to the larger cause of environmental conservation.

IEEE Day Celebration

Cummins College of Engineering for Women, Nagpur, celebrated IEEE Day on October 7, 2023, with tremendous zeal and fervour. The event was a grand success, bringing together IEEE members, faculty, and department Heads for a day filled with celebration and engagement. The IEEE Day celebration kicked off with a grand cake cutting ceremony, symbolizing unity and the joy of technological innovation. Faculty members and Heads of various departments joined in the celebration, underscoring the importance of the IEEE community at Cummins College.

Mind Rattle

IEEE CCOEW SB had conducted Mind Rattle; the first offline event after the pandemic on 10th of June with an objective of preparing young engineers for their upcoming challenges during Placements, Basically it was an Aptitude Test and Quiz competition held in 3 rounds. 

Drone Development Hands On Workshop

IEEE CCOEW Nagpur SB, in association with We Can Education and Dalvik Apps, organized hands-on Drone Development workshop on 28th and 29th of September, 2022 where more than 80 students participated. With the guidance of Chief Mentors Mr. Gaurav Singh and Mr. Amit Thool having experience and expertise in conducting Drone workshops.

National Science Day celebration with one Dollar Venture

On 28th February 2023 IEEE CCOEW SB organized One Dollar venture on the occasion of National Science Day which is held every year in our college. This event was conducted inside college premises and students participated with great enthusiasm. Each group were given limit for investment was 1 $ i.e., Rs. 82.63 using which they had to create a business idea and execute it.

Gabfest

On 29th April 2023 IEEE CCOEW Student Branch organized the most awaited Gabfest 2k23 –innovate, elevate, with every tech trend you create. This Fest was conducted within the college premises which was well attended by a large number of audience.The keynote speaker was Arsh Goyal, a senior software developer at Samsung. He is also a tech enthusiast with around 150k+ followers on social media platforms.
