Departmental Activities and Events- Mechanical Department

• Skill Development Week- It is a week-long programme for students of all years that takes place prior to the start of each semester. Students receive hands-on instruction in various Mechanical Engineering trades for skill development and comprehension.The areas Include Thermal, Design, Production, Process Planning, Automobiles, EV’s,Software like Ansys, Creo, CATIA, Solid Works, CAD CAM etc., where skill are imparted to the students

• Project competitions were held in which each individual student is required to compete with their work and models that they prepare. The projects are real-world challenges recognized from diverse companies during the students' monthly industry visits.

• Faculties from department participated, conducted, attended various FDP’s, STTP’s, Workshops and Conferences

• Cultural activities were carried out round the year for Students

• Students were motivated to participate in NCC, NSS, Sports activities and the students won laurels for the institute and University at state and National level sports events.

• Guest lectures by Industry Personnel and Academicians were arranged

• Aptitude and technical trainings were provided to students in preparation for placements

• Faculties published papers in SCI Journals of repute and filed one Patent

• Department received grant of one lakh rupees under Unnat Bharat Abhiyaan from GOI

• Department students and Faculties represented college in Indian Science Congress-2023, held at RTM Nagpur University as resource persons

• Faculties were invited as resource persons at various Industries and colleges in and around Nagpur

• 2 Faculties registered for Ph.D (Higher studies)

• Students and faculties registered for Technical Enhancement learning through SWAYAM/ NPTEL portal and gained credits
