Skill Development Program
The Cummins College of Engineering for women’s Nagpur, Computer engineering Department,
organized a three days (18 hrs) workshop on Basic Computing and System Security from 22nd
August to 24th August 2022 by VCF (Vigilante Cyber Forces). This Training was organized for
2nd year students to make students ready with the knowledge of OS Installations/Formatting,
Basic Networking Concepts, Computer Security, Internet Security, Data Backup & Recovery and
Social Engineering followed by Q/A session. Total 57 students get benefited by workshop.
Workshop was conducted by Mr. Vaibhav Malgewar (22nd Aug and 23rd Aug) and Ms. Isha
Mujumdar (24th Aug).
On 25th August and 26th August, the department has organized a session on Drupal technology
by Prof. Abhilasha Borkar to make them aware of Drupal technology, its basic concepts,
importance, Content Management system, Creating Basic contents and Creating new content
types followed by Q/A session. Total 57 students get benefited by the session.
