- Read by 2nd and 3rd-year Electronics and Telecommunication students.
- Discussed Japanese culture and schools.
- Not a typical children's magazine, covers science, technology, sports, politics.
- Explains current topics in simple language.
Magazine: Curious Minds of Electronic Era
A magazine published by the students of third year ETC department.
- It consisted of 18 articles that gave insight about the scientists who contributed to the society through their inventions.

Message Writing Competition

Coffee with Dr. B.P. Joshi
Date: 29/09/2022
- First offline session, attended by 40 students.
- Discussion about work in DRDO with Dr. B.P. Joshi, ex-principal and scientist.
Interactive Session
An online interactive session was hosted, featuring Padmashree Dr. Smita Kolhe, renowned for her
work as a woman doctor in Melghat.
Dr. Kolhe shared her valuable insights and experiences from her journey, enriching the session with
her wisdom.
Students had the opportunity to interact directly with Dr. Kolhe, asking her questions and gaining
firsthand knowledge from her responses.
Dr. Kolhe's answers to the students' questions served as a source of motivation, inspiring them
during the session.
Visit to Exhibition
- Sanskrit Bharati Exhibition was based on different topics like engineering inventions, Mathematics, Ayurveda, Music.
- 5 students visited Crossword and enjoyed multidisciplinary reading.

Magazine on "Defence Technology"
Muktangan Club developed a magazine on "Defence Technology" where participants could write
about various defence-related engineering technologies.
Participants could choose from ten topics, including Combat Vehicle Engineering, Aerospace
Technology, and Surveillance System, among others.
The club received articles from 17 participants on various topics, from Aerospace Technology to
Defence Technology.
The magazine was successfully completed and launched on Republic Day, January 26, 2024.
The club appreciated the participants' contributions, stating that their efforts resulted in a
meaningful and dynamic magazine.


Interactive Session with Dr. V.S. Rao
Students of Muktangan club and writers of magazine on Defence Technology interacted with Scientist
from DRDO Dr.V.S.Rao .
Students delivered presentations on topics which they had studied during article writing process.
Dr. Rao asked questions on delivered topics and also guided students further.
Canvas Painting Activity 'Rang Azadi Ke'
On the occasion of 76th Independence Day, Muktangan club organized an event of canvas painting 'Rang Azadi Ke'to celebrate the spirit of unity.
- The theme for the event was development of our country in early 75 years in various fields.


Online Quiz Competition
The Muktangan team organized an online Quiz Competition on November 6, 2023, testing
knowledge in Technical Posts in Defence, Chandrayan 3, and Aditya.
Participants showcased their expertise, contributing to the event's success.
Top performers were Nidhi Jaiswal (1st), Pranita Bire (2nd), and Payal Paunikar (3rd).
Winners and runners-up were featured in the upcoming Muktangan magazine, with prizes and
certificates distributed.
The announcement of results celebrated the quiz's success and participants' dedication.
The Muktangan team encourages anticipation for future events, promising continued enthusiasm
and participation.
Interview with Suresh M. Deshpande
Muktangan Club interviewed Suresh M Deshpande, a big name in Aerospace Engineering, who
shared insights about his research and Aerospace Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).
Mr. Deshpande is known for his work in the LSKUM method used in Aerodynamic Shape
Optimization.
He worked at the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research until December 31, 2020,
and now advises Sankhya Sutra Labs in Bangalore.
In the interview, he highlighted the importance of reading publications from organizations like DRDO,
ISRO, and the Defence of Atomic Energy.
He also shared information about key scientific institutions like the Indian Academy of Engineering,
the Indian Academy of Science, and the Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE).
Mr. Deshpande encouraged the Muktangan Club to stay updated with the latest developments in
defence technology by reading research papers and articles from reputable sources

Where the young minds of Cummins College of Engineering , for Women , nagpur voiced out their
gratitude towards our freedom fighters of India through quotes , phrases , codes , poems and notes.
On August 15th , 2024 on the magnificent occasion of Independence Day , we were fortunate to have
with us Ms. Bimla Negi Deoskar , the women who climbed the Everest" and came back safe and
sound along with her troop , her journey , dedication , resilience , hard work and passion to give back
to the nation being truly vitalizing for the next generation She is a phenomenal women with great
sense of humility.
We were , privileged to have her with the esteemed Members of LMC to Inagurate our " Wall Diary
2024 , SANKALP SE SWATANTRYA"
They also gave in their share of gratitude and respect towards our monumental freedom fighters in
the form of heartfelt notes on our wall diary 2024 , making it all a worth remembering experience
Warli Painting Competition for Engineers
On 20th February 2025, the Muktangan Club organized a vibrant Warli Painting Competition at the Cummins College of Engineering campus.A total of 25-30 students were selected to participate in the competition. These students were chosen based on their enthusiasm for art and technology, showcasing a diverse range of skills and creativity.
The competition featured a variety of themes that reflect the current technological landscape.Robotics and Machines, Satellite Communication, Internet of Things (IoT), Antenna Technology
The event commenced with an introduction to Warli painting, explaining its cultural significance and techniques. Participants were then given a set time to create their artworks, during which they demonstrated remarkable creativity and innovation.
A panel of judges, comprising faculty members and local artists, evaluated the artworks based on creativity, relevance to the theme, and execution of the Warli style.
The Warli Painting Competition organized by the Muktangan Club was a resounding success, fostering a unique blend of art and technology.
