Mechanical Department has organized 3day workshop on 12-14 June 2017 for 2nd & 3rd year Mechanical Engineering students. The objective of workshop to inculcate necessary qualities and skills in the students to develop them professionally strong, academically and technically competent. The workshop has covered various topics which require to become good engineer.

Mr. Shailesh Lambe an eminent motivational trainer delivered lecture on "Qualities in Engineer" in inaugural of workshop. Mr. P S Sargaonkar explored mind control techniques to enhance learning skills and confidence. Mr. S. Chulbule gave a though on "Self Awareness" and appeal students to understand their potential and work accordingly. Mr. Milind Pathak, Secretary of Institute of Engineers, Nagpur gave a information of activities and functions of Institution of Engineers. He appealed to become a student member of largest engineer body of country and contribute in forming students chapter.

Mr. Ashutosh Adoni, philosopher and eminent speaker, talked on role of woman in nation building. Others topics addressed by faculty members include "Personality Development" by Prof. Y. V. Dandekar, HOD of Mechanical Department, "Free Hand Sketch and How to use reference book and referred journal" by Prof. S. Lanjewar, "Carrier Prospectives and Competitive Exam. preparation" by Prof. A Kawadskar and Prof. S L Naik, "Ancient Sciecne and Engineering" by Prof P Mahankar, and "Importance of Projects in Mechanical Engineering by Prof. K Chimote.

Dr. B. P. Joshi concluded the three day workshop session with a motivational seminar on " Pro activeness and Effective Habits". Workshop was very useful to improve skills and knowledge of students.
