Indian society for technical education is an organization of technical people from industry or educational institutes all over India. Most of the engineering and management colleges are the members of this organization and the interaction between these colleges is possible through ISTE. This is a Premier National Society for Teachers and Students of the Technical Education System. It organizes Professional Refinement Programmes for faculty members. This organization gives more than 50 National and Regional Awards to Institutions, Teachers and Students for innovation and excellence in various areas of Engineering and Technology.

on 14th and 15th Feb.2014 in the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication under ISTE student Chapter, New Delhi. Dr.M.M Mushrif; Professor in ET dept. YCCE, Nagpur and Mr. Vaibhav Waghmare; Business Analyst, Helical IT Solution, Hyderabad had an interactive sessions with students and provided hands on training on MATLAB.
Celebration of 152th Birth Anniversary of “ Swami Vivekananda” by organizing Essay Competition on 12 January 15
The topic of essay was; “How Thoughts of Swami Vivekananda prevent the youth from reality TV?”
in association with Indian Women Scientists Association (IWSA) and Vijnana Bharati. On this occasion Intercollegiate Elocution competition was organized at Cummins CoE. As the year 2k15 is declared as International light year, the theme was based on “Advances in Light Based Technologies for Sustainable Development in terms of energy, education, agriculture and health”. The competition got an overwhelming response from the students. The competition was judged by eminent personalities - Dr. Mithilesh Tiwari, Rtd Scientist ISRO, Mrs. Aruna Shobhane, Dinanath Jr. College, Nagpur and Prof. Prashant Dabrase, Bhalerao Science College. Ms. Shivani Pandey and Ms. Damini Bisen from Nikalas Mahila Mahavidlaya, Nagpur bagged the first and third prize in the competition. Ms. Abhishi Karwat of Cummins CoEW bagged second prize. The winners were awarded prizes at the hands of Chief Guest Dr. Pramod Patil, National Executive Council Member of ISTE and CEO of CICET/ CIIP. Dr. Anuradha Gadkari, retd. Scientist, NEERI & Shri Sudhakar Kunte, Chairman, MKSSS Nagpur prakalpa and various Vibha members graced the occasion with their presence. Dr. Shubhangi Bompilwar, Asst. Prof, CCoEW, Prof. Bharati Ganu and Prof. Mamta Karikar Asst. Prof. Nikalas Mahila Mahavidlaya coordinated the entire event under the guidance of Dr. Bhushan Joshi, Principal CCoEW and Dr. Seema Somalwar Convener, IWSA.
Cummins Genius competition was held in college on 3rd Sept.2016. Around 130 students were participated. Competition was based on general aptitude, bacis mathematics and logical reasoning. Top three students were given prizes from
